EXCLUSIVE: Yash is all praise for his KGF director Prashanth Neel- "He has got the potential to make an international film"

Yash starrer KGF 2 which was released in theatres on April 14 is still going strong in theatres across India. Despite multiple film releases post the release of KGF 2, the Prashanth Neel directorial is still dominating at the box office. There was a major buzz around the film after the release of the film KGF in 2018. After the massive success of the first part, the audience was eagerly looking forward to Chapter 2 and the film lived up to the expectation of people.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Yash was all praise for his director Prashanth Neel and his artistic vision. “He has got huge potential. Not in comparison with anyone else, but he is one of the best we have because the kind of technical excellence he has achieved over a period of time and he is just beginning is what I feel. Whatever you are seeing here is nothing compared to what thoughts he has because he shares a lot of things with me, and we discuss a lot of other things also," he said.

 

“I think he has got huge potential and he has a lot of international film exposure, technicalities, and craftsmanship that he has. I am very proud that our Kannada industry got him and because of him this kind of output we got. He has got the potential to make an international film. Truly if western actors are put here (points at KGF poster) it will definitely look like that kind of film. With the kind of restrictions we have in our country, it was not that this was done with limited sources, but still, for a filmmaker, you can think whatever you want. If he gets the (right) resources, he can create one of the best visuals in the world. I can vouch for it,” he added.

 

 

Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film is Prabhas starrer Salaar, another big-budget project backed by Hombale Films.
