Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth announce separation after 18 years of marriage: "Give us the needed privacy to deal with this"

Indian actor Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth have decided to part ways after 18 years of togetherness. The actor on Monday took to his Twitter account to release a statement. He also urged everyone to respect their privacy during this time.

In his statement, Dhanush wrote, "18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate... Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do Respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this.Om Namashivaaya! Spread love, D."

 

 

 

On the work front, Dhanush is currently shooting for his Tamil-Telugu bilingual Sir. The actor was last seen in Aanand L Rai's Atrangi Re alongside Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar. His next will be Maaran directed by Karthick Naren.
