Devara Part 1 gets postponed; Jr NTR announces new release date

Touted as the grandest release of the year, the visual spectacle Devara Part 1, helmed by visionary director Koratala Siva, has garnered ample curiosity, considering that it marks the return of superstar Jr NTR on the big screen after the grand success of RRR. From critics to audiences, they expressed their enthusiasm after the makers unveiled its official first glimpse. While it was earlier being said that the action entertainer will hit the big screens in April, the release has now been postponed by six months.

On Friday, February 16, superstar Jr NTR took to X to unveil the news about the film’s postponement along with a poster. The film will now release during the occasion of Dussehra and the actor made the announcement by unveiling a new poster of the film featuring him in an intense fight sequence backed by a huge mountain adorned with signs of Lord Shiva. He captioned saying, “#Devara Part 1 releasing on 10.10.24.”

 

 

The Pan-India film will also feature Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady along with Saif Ali Khan and in a pivotal role. Earlier this year, the makers had unveiled a teaser of sorts showcasing the kind of stunts audiences can expect from Jr NTR in the film and also introduced the audiences to the power-packed background score ‘All Hail The Tiger’ – all of which only added to the immense anticipation surrounding the movie.

 

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara Part 1 will unfold in two parts. The magnum opus is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, while it is presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the cinematography is handled by R Rathnavelu. Promising intense action sequences and an extraordinary orchestral musical score, the film will hit the theatres during the occasion of Dussehra, on October 10, 2024 in multiple languages including Hindi.
