Composer-actor Vijay Anthony’s teenage daughter Meera dies by suicide

Vijay Anthony, who is a popular composer and works predominantly in Tamil Cinema, was in for a massive shock when his teenage and elder daughter Meera was found dead at their apartment in Chennai. Vijay and his wife Fathima rushed their daughter to the hospital after finding her hanging at their Alwarapet residence, but the 16-year-old was declared dead as soon as they reached the hospital.

Reports have it that Vijay Anthony’s daughter Meera was facing extreme pressure and hence was diagnosed with depression for she was undergoing treatment. On September 19, the househelp at their household found her hanging her in the room at 3 am, after which her parents rushed to admit her to the hospital. However, the doctors declared her dead and the police officials are currently investigating the matter.

 

Speaking of professional commitments, Vijay Anthony recently performed at a concert which received a lot of love from the audience. Vijay is not just a singer but also a composer, lyricist, producer, director, actor, sound engineer, etc. He is currently expected to be also working on the film titled Raththam. The actor-singer is married to Fatima Vijay Anthony and has two daughters Meera and Lara.
