Prime Video drops explosive teaser and premiere date for Gen V Season 2

Fans at the Prime Video panel during CCXP México got a first look at the second season of Gen V, the spinoff series set in the world of The Boys. Cast members Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, London Thor, and Derek Luh were present to share updates, including the announcement that Season 2 will premiere on Wednesday, September 17. The first three episodes will be available on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories, with new episodes released weekly until the season finale on Wednesday, October 22.

In Season Two, classes resume at Godolkin University as the country comes to terms with Homelander’s growing influence. A new Dean arrives, introducing a curriculum aimed at pushing students to new limits. Cate and Sam are treated as heroes, while Marie, Jordan, and Emma return to campus still dealing with the fallout from past events. With tensions rising between Humans and Supes both on and off campus, the students discover a long-running secret tied to the university’s origins—one that could have far-reaching consequences. At the center of it all is Marie, whose connection to the program becomes increasingly clear.

 

 

Season Two stars Jaz Sinclair as Marie Moreau, Lizze Broadway as Emma Meyer, Maddie Phillips as Cate Dunlap, London Thor as Jordan Li, Derek Luh as Jordan Li, Asa Germann as Sam Riordan, and Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity, and joining the cast for Season Two is Hamish Linklater as Dean Cipher.

 

Michele Fazekas serves as showrunner and executive producer. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Michaela Starr, Ori Marmur, Thomas Schnauz, Steve Boyum, and Brant Engelstein also serve as executive producers. Loreli Alanís, Gabriel Garcia, and Jessica Chou are co-executive producers. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film.
