Veteran Bollywood actress Zeenat Aman, who has been actively engaging with her fans on Instagram since her debut on the platform in 2023, recently delighted her followers by sharing a nostalgic clip from the song ‘Lawangi Mirchi’. The clip features Zeenat Aman alongside co-stars Parveen Babi and Shabana Azmi and is from the 1982 film Ashanti.

In her post, Zeenat Aman fondly recalled the time when she collaborated with the talented actors Shabana Azmi and Parveen Babi for the film Ashanti, which was released 41 years ago. The clip captured the vibrancy and energy of the song, showcasing the camaraderie between the three iconic actresses. Sharing the post, she wrote in caption, “I’ve already expressed my admiration for Parveen, and I’ve recently been reminded of Shabana’s mastery over her craft. She is undeniably a doyenne. So here’s a spicy little snippet from our 1982 release - Ashanti. A film in which we co-starred as an ass-kicking trio out for revenge! Zeenat Aman is an Indian actress and a former model. The Evil Within (1970), starring Dev Anand, marked the former beauty queen's acting debut. She has acted in films like Yaadon Ki Baarat, Qurbani, Dharam Veer, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Insaaf Ka Tarazu among others. The actress will soon return to the silver screen with Faraz Arif Ansari’s next, Bun Tikki. The film will also feature Shabana Azmi. As per reports, the plan is to take the movie on floors by November of this year in Himachal Pradesh. The director plans to talk about parenting and gender identity throughout the movie. Abhay Deol will play the role of a father in the film.
