This mashup, titled "Appreciate," arrives hot on the heels of a recent video showing Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in a moment of controversy. Mukhate, known for his witty musical takes on current events, has cleverly repurposed an old video of the singer expressing his gratitude to fans.

As mentioned above, the release comes after a video circulated online showing Khan reprimanding one of his staff members, leading to heated discussions. However, Khan later clarified the incident, stating it involved a "shagird" (protégé) and a "bottle containing holy water," emphasizing the seriousness of the matter for him. Despite his explanation, online humour continued, prompting Khan's recent comments about the situation.

 

He appeared on Adeel Asif's podcast and once again addressed the issue. He said, “He is my protégé, and I accepted that I scolded and trashed him. Later I apologised. Till this point, it was fine, but people are making fun of it. But the truth is he had my holy water with him. People are not understanding the intensity of the situation. It’s a very serious matter for me as it involves my spiritual guide."
