It’s a wrap! Varun Dhawan concludes Kerala schedule of VD18; shares breathtaking pics

After sustaining multiple injuries, actor Varun Dhawan has finally wrapped the schedule of his next film, tentatively called VD18. Dhawan himself informed his 46.8 M followers on Instagram. On Wednesday, Varun shared a two-photo post on his feed and captioned it, “Thank u Kerala / Sched wrap #vd18.”

In the photos, VD can be seen enjoying a picturesque view of a location in Kerala. Reacting to the post, a section of his fans flooded the comments section with red-heart emoticons. In addition to this, his Jugjugg Jeeyo co-star Maniesh Paul commented, “What a place man!!gorgeous!!” Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan wrote, “what a sky,” along with a bunch of heart-eye emojis.

 

 

 

Readers may recall that a few days ago, the SOTY actor shared a photo of his swollen leg with a red mark. “Swollen shin banged it into an iron rod,” read his caption. It is worth mentioning that since Varun started shooting for VD18, he has been injured several times, as mentioned above.

 

In fact, before commencing the Kerala schedule, the 36-year-old actor had penned a note along with a video. He was seen working out in the video. “Had too many reoccurring injuries, lack of discipline, motivation some other shit I had to get over but this time with a great schedule and a goal in mind Iv decided to push through while I film for my next in kerela,” read an excerpt of his caption.

Speaking of the film, it is penned and helmed by Kalees. The forthcoming flick is set to be a high-octane rollercoaster ride filled with thrilling moments and action sequences. It is jointly produced by Murad Khetani and Priya Atlee. It also stars Wamiqa Gabbi. While the title of the film is yet to be revealed, VD 18 is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on May 31, 2024.
