Vicky Kaushal celebrates Dahi Handi with fans ahead of The Great Indian Family release, see pics

Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal celebrated Dahi Handi with fans in Mumbai on Saturday. The actor, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film The Great Indian Family (TGIF), joined the festivities in Ghatkopar and watched as the participants climbed the human pyramid to break the pot of curd.

Dressed in traditional attire, Vicky was all smiles as he interacted with the fans and even shook a leg with them on his recently launched track 'Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja' from The Great Indian Family.

Before the event, Vicky had said, "Growing up in Mumbai, Dahi Handi was more than just a celebration. It was all about the spirit, unity, and unbreakable bonds of the people. I always felt that the human pyramid formed to break the 'Handi' is a powerful metaphor for resilience and unity. This festival reflects India's spirit."

The Great Indian Family is a family drama directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The film also stars Manushi Chhillar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra and Sadiya Siddiqui. It is scheduled to release in theatres on September 22, 2023.
