Sonu Sood becomes the voice of the disabled; urges government to prioritize their needs!
Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, known for his philanthropic endeavours, recently took to social media to advocate for the rights of disabled individuals in the country. In a New Year resolution post, the actor shared a heartfelt message urging concerned authorities and state governments to reconsider and enhance the basic gratuity and minimum pension for people with disabilities.
Expressing his concerns, Sonu Sood posted on social media, "My New Year Resolution “RIGHTS FOR THE DISABLED.“ I Humbly request the concerned authorities and state governments to suitably revise and increase the basic gratuity and minimum pension of the disabled , to help them meet their basic needs .. The inherent challenges they face should be prioritised to alleviate financial strain ,so they too can lead more fulfilling lives.”
Sonu Sood's advocacy for improved financial support policies for the disabled demonstrates his ongoing commitment to positive change and inclusivity. The actor's plea to leaders showcases his genuine concern for addressing the challenges faced by disabled individuals, aiming to enhance their quality of life.
