Sonam Kapoor gets called out for wearing a print with wrong translation of Tamil

Looks like the fashionista made a huge fashion faux pas while promoting her film, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. She recently was seen donning a saree that had Tamil translations on it. The designer Masaba Gupta updated Sonam’s fans on what the transcription read. Apparently, it read Sonam, Masaba, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga in Tamil.

Turns out, whoever translated the text did not do a very good job at it. Because, Karthik just called her out saying that the translation is wrong! And he also pointed out the question we’ve all been wanting to ask Sonam, why Tamil? So the ideation was done by her sister Rhea who in a WhatsApp conversation asked Masaba if they could do a saree that looked like it is dipped in ‘Chai ka Paani’ and was printed with the words in question.
