Shreyas Talpade’s wife Deepti recalls Akshay Kumar wanted to shift actor to different hospital post heart attack

In December 2023, actor Shreyas Talpade experienced a life-altering event - a near-fatal heart attack. Fortunately, with swift action and unwavering support, Talpade survived and underwent angioplasty. Talpade's wife, Deepti, recently revealed on ABP channel’s show Majha Katta how Akshay Kumar, his co-star from Housefull 2, offered immediate assistance. Deepti recounted, “Akshay Kumar kept calling me and asked, ‘Should we shift him? Tell us, we will shift him to a different hospital.’ He again called me in the morning and said, ‘Let me please see him for two minutes. I just want to see him.’”

 

Reportedly, Shreyas suffered a heart attack after the shoot of Welcome To The Jungle, which will be headlined by Akshay Kumar. Earlier, while speaking of the same, Shreyas had told ETimes, “We were shooting in Mumbai at the SRPF grounds close to Jogeshwari for Ahmed Khan's Welcome To The Jungle. We were doing army training sequences like swinging on a rope, falling into the water and everything was going smoothly.”

 

He further shared, “Suddenly, after the last shot, I felt breathless, and my left hand started paining. I could barely walk to my vanity van and change my clothes. I thought it was a muscle pull since we were shooting action sequences.”
