“Shehzada is getting empowered because of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2”, says Kartik Aaryan; speaks his mind on Hera Pheri 3

It’s been truly a year of Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan as he gave one of the biggest grossers of the year, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Meanwhile, his latest release, Freddy, is also bagging a positive response from the audience as well as critics. The success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and the hype of Freddy have made him an established actor. Thus, his upcoming projects including Shehzada and Hera Pheri 3 are already the talk of the town.

Speaking of the same, Kartik opened up about the pressure on Shehzada while candidly speaking his mind about Paresh Rawal confirming his name for Hera Pheri 3. In an interview with Indian Express, the actor said, “It gives it all the more energy. Shehzada is getting more empowered because of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Freddy is getting more empowered because of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s success. Contrary to the pressure or the nervousness, I am getting more energy.”

 

Elaborating further on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s box office success, the star said, “Audiences and the industry can see the conviction with which I am working. They can see it. Even with a Shehzada, they are seeing me for the first time in an action avatar. There is that conviction, self-confidence or belief… You need a different level of conviction to do all that.  The way the year has gone for me, it only fuels it, empowers me.”

 

When the publication asked the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor about the official announcement for Hera Pheri 3, he said, “I am still surprised! That’s it,” without confirming or denying the reports.

 

Coming to Freddy, released on Disney+ Hotstar, it also features Alaya F in the lead. In the psycho-thriller, Kartik is playing a titular character of a dentist.
