Shang-Chi’s Simu Liu strikes a pose with Captain America’s Shield & Thor's Mjolnir at Marvel headquarters

Simu Liu, star of Marvel Studios' Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is all set for his big Marvel superhero debut. Ahead of it, he recently took to his Instagram and shared an image from Marvel headquarters posing with Captain America's iconic vibranium shield and Thor's magical hammer Mjolnir.

The picture was shared on Simu Liu's Instagram story during his recent visit to the Marvel Studios headquarters in California. Apart from posing with the iconic shield and hammer, he also shared various glimpses of the studios and look at the walls of comics and merchandise seen around the building.

 

While sharing the picture, Simu Liu mentioned that the office was empty. He wrote, "When you visit the office but nobody is home."

 

The 25th instal;ment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will introduce Simu Liu as the titular hero. The film will mark the first Asian debut in Marvel Cinematic Universe and will also reintroduce the proper Mandarin after Iron Man 3's double fake-out.

 

In the movie, Shang-Chi must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The film’s cast also includes Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan. Additionally, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng appear in the upcoming movie, which is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
