Rithvik Dhanjani urges people to let Sushant Singh Rajput’s family grieve in peace, calls out those showing fake concern

Rithvik Dhanjani was just as shocked as the others after the news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise broke out. Rithvik and Sushant were both a part of the hit show Pavitra Rishta that still has a special place etched in its audiences’ hearts. Rithvik recently took to his Instagram to share a heart-wrenching video where he spoke in detail about letting Sushant’s family grieve his loss, called out the people showing fake concern, and urged people to take mental health seriously.

He said, “Let the person be in peace. Let his family and friends mourn in peace.” Speaking about people suddenly caring too much about Sushant and his mental health, he said, “The one who needed it didn’t have it. And somewhere we are all culprits that we couldn’t be there when we could have been.” He was clearly overwhelmed with emotions and said, “We talk about lending our ears but do we even understand what listening is all about. Most of us just want to talk and not hear. The person who is in their own prison cell, it’s difficult for them to speak out in the first place.”
