Riteish Deshmukh points out security loophole at Hyderabad airport, says tragedy waiting to happen

Riteish Deshmukh, who was in Hyderabad earlier this week, pointed out security loophole at the airport and stated that it is a tragedy waiting to happen. The power went off at the airport and the actor was stuck at the lounge. He shared a video in which the emergency exit remained shut after the power cut and the elevator wouldn't work due to electricity cut.

Riteish Deshmukh wrote, "So we were at the Hyderabad Airport Lounge - suddenly the power goes off- the way in & out is an elevator that shuts down. The only exit door is locked in a chain (In case of FIRE???? it’s a tragedy waiting to happen)."

 

 

But, the airport authorities quickly responded to Riteish Deshmukh's tweet and wrote, "We regret the inconvenience caused. It was a minor technical snag which was resolved immediately. Please be rest assured that our Airport Terminals are safety compliant. In an event of any emergency, the glass doors can be broken. Passenger safety is of utmost importance to us."

 

 

 

On the professional front, Riteish Deshmukh has two film releases later this year - Housefull 4 and Marjaavaan.
