Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor spend time at boys’ night out by watching Oppenheimer

Although Ranbir Kapoor recently was missing from the Manish Malhotra show where Alia Bhatt walked the ramp as a part of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani promotions, it seems that the actor took some time off to chill with his friends. In a video that has found its way online, Ranbir was seen meeting a few of his friends including Arjun Kapoor and having a fun night with them by going for dinner and catching up on recent releases. The two of them were seen at a theatre watching legendary filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s highly acclaimed film Oppenheimer.

Readers would be aware that this weekend, international releases like Barbie and Oppenheimer are winning hearts. While many Bollywood celebrities, in the past, have confessed their love for filmmaker Christopher Nolan and his work, Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor showcased their fanboy side as they decided to catch up on the much awaited release this week. From what we hear, the boys met for dinner together earlier that evening and later, decided to watch the movie at an Imax theatre in suburban Mumbai along with a few friends. Talking about Oppenheimer, the film is an autobiographical encounter of Robert Oppenheimer essayed by Cillian Murphy while it also stars Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr., playing pivotal role. The film is set against the backdrop of World War II and revolves around Oppenheimer being appointed as a physicist in a secret Manhattan Project that gave rise to the invention of the nuclear weapons.

 

On the other hand, coming to Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, Ranbir is currently gearing up for the release of Animal, which is slated to hit theatres in December this year. On the other hand, Arjun Kapoor has the release of Bhumi Pednekar starrer The Lady Killer in the pipeline for release.
