Rana Daggubati’s Rana Naidu rescuing Janhvi Kapoor from “fashion police” is hilarious, watch

A few weeks back, Netflix dropped the trailer of an upcoming action-packed series Rana Naidu that stars Rana Daggubati. While a section of the audience is eagerly waiting for it to start streaming on the OTT platform, its promotions have started in full swing. Recently, a suspicious video of Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor was making rounds on the internet, in which she was seen kidnapping an unconscious man with Rana Daggubati. To clear the air, the streaming giant has shared another video to explain why Jahnvi Kapoor joined hands with Rana Naidu.

The new video starts by introducing Rana as a “celebrities ka problem sorter”. Later, Janhvi tells him that the “fashion” police are behind her and every time she is going to the airport, they follow her. As she continues, she adds that to please them, she had tried multiple looks. Rana assures Janhvi that he will sort out the problem.

For the unversed, Rana Naidu is an Indian adaptation of an American series, titled Ray Donnavon. Rana Daggubati will be playing the role of a headstrong man involved in most of the scandals in the Bollywood industry.

 

Speaking of his character in the series, Rana said, “Playing the role of Rana Naidu was exceptionally challenging. He's a complex character with a deep emotional connection to his family, but also struggles with his relationship with his father. And, amidst all this drama is Rana’s professional journey and what it requires of him. I can't wait for everyone to experience the world of Rana, Naga and everything in between!” during the trailer launch.

 

Directed by Suparn Verma and Karan Anshuman, the series will also star Venkatesh Daggubati, Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh and Gaurav Chopra among others. It will start streaming on Netflix on March 10.
