Rajkummar Rao distributes sweets to paparazzi after welcoming baby girl with Patralekhaa
Actor Rajkummar Rao recently won hearts with a heartfelt gesture while attending an event in Mumbai. Carrying a box of sweets in hand, he distributed them to paparazzi to mark a major personal milestone — the arrival of his baby girl with wife Patralekhaa.
The moment at the We The Women summit became an instant social media favourite. Videos show Rajkummar stepping onto the red carpet at the event, dressed casually in a white T-shirt with a black jacket and glasses. His team carried a large bag full of sweet boxes, and he greeted the waiting photographers with warmth and a broad smile — offering each a box.
Fans on social media were quick to appreciate the sweetness of the gesture. Comments ranged from “The perfect example of BADHAI HO,” to “Laxmi jii aayi hai,” while others simply wrote “Congratulations” and “Respect for @rajkummar_rao.”
The baby girl is Rajkummar and Patralekhaa’s first child, born on their fourth wedding anniversary, November 15, 2025. The couple had announced her arrival via a joint post on Instagram: “We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl. Blessed parents, Patralekhaa and Rajkummar.” The post carried the caption: “The greatest blessing God has given us on our 4th wedding anniversary.”
Their pregnancy had been revealed in July this year, and after dating for many years, the couple married in 2021. Along with their personal celebration, they now begin their journey into parenthood — and Rajkummar’s sweet gesture has added a warm, generous note to their joy.
