Rajeev Sen calls sister Sushmita Sen “strongest” as Aarya actress survives a heart attack

Known for her bold and outspoken attitude, Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has carved a niche for herself. Though the actress took a hiatus of five years from the entertainment industry, her comeback project Aarya, which was also her first web series, instantly won hearts and bagged positive reviews. Amid the shoot of its third instalment, Sushmita shared shocking news with her fans as she revealed that she suffered a heart attack. While many fans and admirers have flooded the internet with “get well soon” messages for Sen, her brother and model Rajeev Sen also penned a note for her.

Several hours after Sushmita Sen shared a post to share her health update with fans, Rajeev took to his story section and dropped a photo featuring the Sen siblings. In the photo, Rajeev and Sushmita can be seen sharing a warm hug. Captioning the image, Rajeev wrote, “To my strongest,” followed by a red-heart emoticon. He further added, “Bhai loves u the most.”

 

 

For the unversed, on March 2, the Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya actress shared a photo, in which she was seen posing with her father from her cousin's wedding they attended in January. ‘“Keep your heart happy & courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most Shona” (Wise words by my father @sensubir ),” she wrote in the caption.

 

“I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart,’” read an excerpt of Sushmita’s lengthy write-up. Before signing off, she added, “This post is just to keep you (my well wishers & loved ones) informed of the good news …that all is well & I am ready for some life again!”

 

 

 

Coming to the professional front, the 47-year-old actress, as mentioned above, recently started shooting for the third instalment of the Disney+ Hotstar original series. Besides this, she also has another web show Taali in her kitty.
