In an interview with Hindustan Times, Raj Kundra opened up about the recent scandal and its impact on his marriage with Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty. Despite the turmoil surrounding the controversy, Kundra revealed that their marital bond remained steadfast.

Acknowledging the distressing nature of the events, Kundra emphasized that his relationship with Shilpa remained resilient due to their shared understanding and trust. He credited Shilpa for being his pillar of strength during the challenging times, asserting that their mutual trust provided solace amidst the chaos.

 

Addressing the allegations head-on, Kundra disclosed Shilpa's reaction upon learning about the case. He recounted how she responded with laughter, dismissing the accusations as baseless. Kundra said, “If you are living at home together and there is something like p*rn involved, you would know.”

 

The businessman lamented the professional repercussions faced by Shilpa in the aftermath of the scandal. He revealed that she suffered significant setbacks, losing contracts and television opportunities due to the negative publicity generated by the case.

 

Expressing his frustration, Kundra denounced the unfairness of the situation and said, “It all happened because I am married to a celebrity. If I was not, I don’t think half of this damage would have been done. I feel they weren’t getting at me, but my wife and kids. You attack me, no issues, but she was collateral damage.”

 

On the professional front, Shilpa Shetty was recently seen in action-packed thriller Indian Police Force, directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash. The series, also starring Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi, is currently streaming on Prime Video.
