Priyanka Chopra Jonas is once again making waves online following the premiere of her action-comedy film Heads of State, which debuted on Prime Video on July 2. While the film has been receiving positive responses from viewers, a viral video from its screening has sparked a light-hearted moment involving food—and a dash of internet humour.

In the video, Priyanka is seen choosing a hot dog over a vada pav, prompting some playful online trolling. Among those to react was food vlogger Pushpek Sidhu, known for reviewing how international audiences experience Indian subcontinental dishes. Not one to stay silent, Priyanka responded with a touch of sarcasm. Reposting the clip on her Instagram Stories, she wrote: “Wow bro! Didn’t know there was a syllabus for being desi. It’s not that serious. #vadapav vs #hotdog”

 

Pushpek kept the banter going, replying with: “I eat samosa, I breathe samosa, I sleep samosa. My whole personality is samosa, in fact, my life revolves around samosa. For me, it's very serious @priyankachopra”

 

The fun exchange has divided the internet, with fans chiming in on both sides—some defending the actress’s choice, others joining in on the light-hearted trolling.

 

 

Meanwhile, Heads of State sees Chopra Jonas playing Noel Bisset, a sharp MI6 agent who becomes a key player in the unfolding global crisis. The film follows an uneasy alliance between the U.S. President (John Cena) and the U.K. Prime Minister (Idris Elba) as they confront a dangerous conspiracy.

 

Directed by Ilya Naishuller (Hardcore Henry, Nobody), the film blends classic buddy-comedy vibes with fast-paced action. The ensemble cast includes Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, Sarah Niles, Richard Coyle, and Paddy Considine.
