Nupur Shikhare arrives at his wedding in a ganji; bride Ira Khan asks him to “go and take a shower”

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan tying the knot Nupur Shikhare wedding has become quite the talk of B-town. From sharing moments of their traditional pre-wedding ceremony to now sharing photos from their wedding festivities, many of them have received a lot of love on social media. Aamir’s entire family including the actor’s second ex-wife Kiran Rao attended the ceremonies, which were held in the city. But what grabbed eyeballs of the look of the groom at the main ceremony especially when he arrived in a ganji.

In a video which was doing the rounds on social media soon after the wedding was held on January 3, Ira Khan is seen dressed in Indo-ethnic fusion look as the bride but the groom Nupur Shikhare was seen in ganji and shorts. The couple were seen taking the stage along with the two side of the families as they were signing the registry documents for their marriage. While Ira signed in her Dulhan avatar, her groom signed in his shorts and ganji, which left the guests as well as the social media users perplexed. It seems that Nupur did listen to his wife as he decided to later pose for the paparazzi in his beautiful blue sherwani.

 

Readers would be aware that post the wedding, Ira and Nupur will also be seen hosting two grand receptions for their friends. Ira, daughter of Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta, is a social activist whereas her fiancé Nupur is a fitness coach.
