National Film Awards 2023: Allu Arjun sends heartiest wishes to Best Actress winners Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt, see their responses

Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt are proud winners of the 69th National Film Award as they shared the Best Actress Award for their performances in Mimi and Gangubai Kathiawadi respectively. The actresses are receiving unanimous love from the masses and the big names of the industry and one among them is Allu Arjun, who also won the 69th National Award in the category for Best Actor for Pushpa: The Rise. The superstar took to his social media account and congratulated the actresses on winning the National Award.

On Twitter, he wrote, "Congratulations dear @aliaa08, I was waiting to see you winning this award. So elated personally for your win . #GangubaiKathiawadi." In the same tweet, he added, "Heartiest congratulations to dear

 

@kritisanon for an amazing performance as #Mimi . Very deserved. Happy for you dear."

 

He continued, "Congratulations to the masterful #SanjayLeelaBhansali garu on winning the national award for editing & many more . I was personally so happy to see it win soo many awards for this Masterpiece @bhansali_produc. Also congrats to our beloved @preetisheel on winning the national award.."

 

 

 

The actresses also responded to Allu Arjun. Kriti Sanon was surprised by the wishes and replied, "Thankss Allu! Hugeee congratulations to you too!! ???? I’ve been a fan of your work and you were mind-blowingly amazing in and as Pushpa!! So so well deserved!!"

 

 

 

Alia Bhatt added, "congratulations to you too dear Pushpa!! Such a fabulous performance - your biggest fan."

 

 

 

Duped and sold to a brothel, Gangubai Kathiawadi is a story of a young woman who fearlessly reclaims her power, using underworld connections to preside over the world she was once a pawn in. Directed and written by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi is produced by Bhansali Productions and Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios.) The film features a remarkable lineup of actors, including Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Jim Sarbh, Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari and Seema Bhargava among others.

 

On the other hand, Mimi, helmed by Laxman Utekar, is the story of a girl who decides to become a surrogate mother. The story is inspired by a Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy. It stars Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa.

 

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt has signed YRF’s female-driven spy movie. She also has another Dharma Productions’ in the works with Vasan Bala.

 

On the work front, Kriti will next be seen in Ganapath Part 1, a sci-fi love story with Shahid Kapoor, The Crew with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu and Do Patti with Kajol.
