The birthday wish reflects the strong professional equation between the two, especially as they join forces on Ramayana, one of the most ambitious Indian films currently in production. Yash is collaborating with Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus and his own banner, Monster Mind Creations, along with the eight-time Oscar-winning visual effects studio DNEG. The project aims to mount the epic on a scale rarely seen before in Indian cinema.

 

 

Yash’s introduction as Raavana in Ramayana had already generated massive anticipation, with the unveiling asset leaving fans spellbound. The actor’s commanding presence and reimagined portrayal of the iconic character have added to the growing excitement surrounding the two-part epic. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana features an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol in pivotal roles. The film is set for a worldwide IMAX release, with Part 1 slated for Diwali 2026 and Part 2 arriving in Diwali 2027.

 

Adding to the birthday celebrations, an announcement teaser for Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups was unveiled on the same day. The teaser introduced Yash’s character Raya, further amplifying the buzz around his upcoming projects.
