Michael B. Jordan is PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive 2020, the actor says 'it’s a good club to be a part of'

PEOPLE magazine has finally named the Sexiest Man Alive for the year 2020 and it's none other than Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan. From making his presence felt with 2015’s Creed to starring in Marvel Cinematic Universe with the villainous role Killmonger in Black Panther, the actor continues to excel in the industry.

"It's a cool feeling," the actor told the magazine during the cover shoot. "You know, everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get.' But it’s a good club to be a part of."

 

"My mom and dad sacrificed so much to provide for my sister, brother, and me," Jordan talked about his family and credits them for his achievements. "I'm just grateful. Honestly, it’s like they all have had such an impact on me and who I am and how I approach each day. Without that, a lot of things about me just wouldn’t be the same. So it all comes back to that foundation. I’m really thankful for that."

 

 

 

Michael B. Jordan hopes to direct and produce more content in the future. "Just growing, whatever the next evolution of me is. Hopefully a family by then, I’m going to throw that in the universe. I want to make an impact all over the world and not just through the roles that I play," he told the magazine.

 

On the work front, the actor is said to star in Tom Clancy's Without Remorse.
