Making his directorial debut, Karan Johar presented a unique love triangle of three college students in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and the film continues to earn a cult fan following even two decades after its release. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji, the film also introduced us to some interesting supporting characters like Miss Briganza, Col. Almeida, Rifat Bi, etc. Among them was Parzaan Dastur who played the role of the adorable Sardar kid at Anjali’s summer camp. Recently, when Dastur bumped into the Pathaan aka SRK, he became nostalgic about the KKHH days and posted about it on social media.

His character is fondly remembered as the ‘silent sardar kid’ who keeps counting stars in the film. However, Parzaan Dastur had managed to win hearts even in that small role and earned a lot of fame for essaying the character. Now almost two and half decade later, the actor took to social media to share about the memories of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, along with celebrating the latest release of SRK, Pathaan. Along with a never-seen-before photo from the sets of the Karan Johar directorial, Parzaan also shared a recent pic of him meeting the superstar as the two were twinning in a black tuxedo. He captioned the photo saying, “When Parzaan met Pathaan #pathaan #blockbuster” and also added a ‘firecracker’ emoji.

 

 

Readers would be aware that Pathaan released to full houses and the film has been doing record breaking business at the box office. It stars Shah Rukh Khan in an action packed role of a spy along with Deepika Padukone as an ISIS agent and John Abraham in the role of an assassin and antagonist. With Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana, Ekta Kaul, and others playing supporting roles, the film is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by YRF. It released on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
