Koffee With Karan 7: Arjun Kapoor opens up on marrying Malaika Arora; reveals his plans for marriage

The latest episode of the popular chat show Koffee With Karan 7 aired last night at midnight. Featuring cousins Sonam Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor the episode features some rib-tickling moments, surprising revelations, and of course, some frack speak. By far one of the most entertaining episodes so far, the show saw host Karan Johar at a loss for words. If that wasn’t enough, the episode also features Arjun Kapoor opening up about his relationship with Malaika Arora and even talking about marriage plans.

During the conversation host, Karan Johar quizzed Arjun about his relationship with Malaika and whether the two were planning a wedding anytime soon. Responding to the same Arjun was quick to articulate, “No. And honestly, because it has been two years of this lockdown and covid and whatever was transpiring. I wanted to focus on my career. I would like to see where I am going and I am a very realistic person, Karan. It’s not that I need to hide anything; I am not sitting here and being coy. I really would like to be professionally a little more stable. And I am talking about financially. I am talking about emotionally. I would like to do work that makes me happy because if I am happy, I can make my partner happy. I can live a happier life. And I feel a lot of my happiness comes from my work.”

 

For the uninitiated, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have been dating for a while now, the couple made their relationship public via their Instagram handles and since then have been subject to both praise and trolling. Back on the film front, Arjun was seen recently in the film Ek Villain Returns and will next be seen in The Ladykiller followed by Kuttey.
