Kiara Advani reveals her early connection to Satya Prem Ki Katha" before Covid; says, “It was in my destiny to be Katha”

Just a month before its release, Satyaprem Ki Katha is generating buzz. The film, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, has already released a couple of songs and its trailer. Today, in Mumbai, the makers unveiled the latest track titled 'Sun Sajni.' During the launch event, Kiara Advani made an interesting revelation, stating that she was approached for Satyaprem Ki Katha even before the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Kiara Advani asserted, “I would like to share this with everyone, Karan (Shrikant Sharma), who wrote this script. I believe this film actually came to me before Covid. I heard this story, and I thought it was so beautiful. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we couldn't proceed with it. Suddenly, after a couple of years, there was an announcement of a film starring Kartik and produced by Sajid (Nadiadwala) sir. At that time, I didn't know that it was the same script that I had read many years ago.”

 

She further recalled, “We were shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 at that time, and we were chatting about it. Kartik mentioned that he was doing this film with a beautiful story, and I was like, ‘Okay.’ I had no idea that it had come back into my life. So, I feel that some films are just destined to happen. Besides sharing anecdotes, Kiara and Kartik also performed Garba during the launch. Speaking of the song, sung by Meet Bros, Parampara Tandon, and Piyush Mehroliyaa and written by Kumaar, it celebrates the spirit of Garba.

 

The Sameer Vidwans directorial is slated to release on July 29.
