"Keep sending me memes"- Priyanka Chopra tells Rajkummar Rao as they wrap The White Tiger

Priyanka Chopra recently flew down to India to shoot for The White Tiger, her first Netflix original also starring Rajkummar Rao. After she wrapped the shoot, the actor wrote a heartfelt note for her team, calling them the 'best in the business'.

"Happy tired.. but so excited to have wrapped #thewhitetiger . It was such a pleasure to work with the best in the business in every department. The most hard working crew.. and such a delightful cast. Thank you for all your brilliance. I can’t wait to see the finished product and share it with the world," she wrote, also sharing a selfie of herself with minimal make-up.

 

 

The White Tiger revolves around Aravind Adiga's novel with the same name that won the Booker Prize in 2008. Adiga also became the fourth Indian to win the honour, after Salman Rushdie, Arundhati Roy, and Kiran Desai.

 

Priyanka also let out that she received plenty of memes from her co-star! "@rajkummar_rao finally! I’m so glad we did this together. Keep sending me memes," she mentioned. Read her post below. The cinematic adaptation of The White Tiger is being helmed by Iranian-American filmmaker Ramin Bahrani.

 

Priyanka was last seen in Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink. She is also a part of Robert Rodriguez's We Can Be Heroes.
