Sunidhi Chauhan has sung many a chartbuster numbers for superstar heroines and added life to their career but herself has not really been on the forefront. Well, all of this could well change with Sunidhi going all out to give a run for their money to the Munnis, Sheilas and Shalus of the world. She has recently shot for a special video featuring her gyrating to many of her chartbusters from past and present. Not just that, as this video, which has been designed as an out and out massy outing, would be also showcased internationally.

"Sunidhi is leaving for a tour to Canada and the USA later this month and she wanted it to be extra special. So instead of just stepping on the stage and belting her songs, she wanted a grand entry of sorts where a video of hers played first, hence enticing the audience enough", informs a source close to the singer, "Sunidhi has done a couple of music videos before but for this video, she wanted to go all out to take it a step ahead of her own blockbuster hit 'Sheila Ki Jawaani'."

Resultantly, Luv Ranjan, director of surprise success Pyaar Ka Punchnama, was roped in to do the job and he was more than happy to grab it with both hands. Result was a 'dhaba' setting which has Sunidhi getting into a 'bindaas' avtar and gyrating to many of her popular tracks.

"The video is shot in a 'Dhaba' setting where people have nothing but a transistor to be content with. Imagine how their lives turn from being gloomy to colourful once they find Sunidhi amidst them. It is sheer euphoria", confirms a source from the production team.

Starting off with 'Crazy Kiya Re' (Dhoom 2), the video traverses through many other Sunidhi chartbusters. Expectedly, the young woman is excited about taking the video internationally, "I was very sure that this time I wanted to get a unique video made for my entry and not keep it simple one. I was in two minds when I discussed it with Luv and he came up with the idea of shooting the video in a Punjabi Dhaba. I am very excited about the look of the video."

For Luv too it was exciting to return on sets. "Sunidhi is a friend and this video was not something which was planned. She told me about the tour and that she was thinking of getting a video made. Also, after Pyaar Ka Punchnama; I was dying to get back on sets. So I basically forced it on her to let me shoot it."

With obvious comparisons that are all set to be made with 'Sheila Ki Jawaani' and 'Munni Badnaam', time may just be ripe for Sunidhi to entice audience with not just with her vocals but also the 'jhatak- matak' act.
