Punjabi singer Mika Singh recently shared explosive anecdotes involving self-proclaimed film critic Kamaal R Khan (KRK) and celebrities Kapil Sharma and Honey Singh. For the unversed, KRK’s sharp words have often landed him in hot water with industry personalities. In an interview with The Lallantop, Mika revealed how he once acted as a mediator between KRK and celebrities upset by his remarks.

Mika Singh’s Bond with KRK

 

Mika Singh revealed that he once shared a close relationship with KRK. “He is like my son. He is a very pyara insaan (lovely person). He used to live very close to my studio at one time. I used to visit him often, at times even without informing him. I used to call him ‘bhai’ (brother). So, he knew I was a mad person. He became friends with me,” Mika shared.

 

However, KRK’s frequent jabs at Bollywood stars often made Mika the go-to mediator. Mika explained, “He used to say bad things about all the heroes. Some of them would come to me and tell me ‘isko samjha yaar’ (tell him to mind his words), so I would be the mediator.”

 

Honey Singh’s Heated Confrontation

 

Recalling an incident involving Honey Singh, Mika revealed how the rapper’s anger boiled over after KRK’s comments about him. “Honey might not remember this now, but KRK had said something about him. Honey was very upset and told me, ‘Paaji yeh aisaa aisaa bolta hai.’ Ayushmann Khurrana and Kapil Sharma were also very upset with KRK. So, I told Honey, we’ll visit him in Dubai and act as if we’re drunk. We were very rude to him. Apparently, we pulled his hair,” Mika recounted.

 

Kapil Sharma’s Intense Reaction

 

Mika also shared a dramatic story involving comedian and actor Kapil Sharma. Around 2012-2013, Kapil’s frustration with KRK reached its peak. “When he realized that KRK was my neighbor, Kapil wanted to just beat him up. He wanted me to take him to KRK’s house that night. I requested him not to do that,” Mika said.

 

Despite Mika’s intervention, Kapil reportedly caused a scene at KRK’s home. “We went to him around 4-5 AM. KRK was not home, but his staff came out. Kapil broke glasses at his house and created a ruckus,” Mika revealed.

 

Mika’s Role as Mediator

 

While Mika Singh’s tales highlight the tensions between KRK and Bollywood celebrities, they also underline Mika’s unique position as a mediator in these conflicts. “I always tried to pacify situations, but sometimes things just escalated,” he concluded.
