Bigg Boss 19 continues to stir headlines with its latest episode featuring a tense moment during the nomination task. Contestant Farrhana Bhatt made a comment about Ashnoor Kaur’s television background, which drew criticism from former Bigg Boss 11 finalist and actor Hina Khan. Hina voiced her support for Ashnoor on social media, although her posts were later deleted.

Farrhana Bhatt’s Remark on Ashnoor Kaur’s TV Career

 

During the nomination task, Bigg Boss paired housemates into teams of two, one male and one female. Each pair was asked to silently count 19 minutes while the rest of the housemates attempted to distract them. The duo closest to 19 minutes would be saved from nominations. Ashnoor Kaur was paired with Abhishek Bajaj. While she was focused on the task, Farrhana Bhatt tried to distract her by making comments about her acting experience. Farrhana said, “You’ve worked in TV serials, right? I never worked in TV because I wasn’t interested. I’ve done movies. You’re just 21? You still have a lot to learn. It feels like you’ve come to the show a bit too early.”

 

Hina Khan Responds to Farrhana’s Comments

 

The comment did not sit well with Hina Khan, who is known for her successful television career and her time on Bigg Boss 11. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Hina responded with a strong message in defense of the television industry. She wrote, “Is the biggest reality show of Indian television premiered in INOX? As far as I know, it airs on television, right? Our TV industry has such a big heart that anyone can become a star. Alhamdulillah for that. Don’t get me started.” In another now-deleted post, she added, “We prefer good, notable work—regardless of the medium. Coming on television and claiming to be a film actor just to appear superior is something a truly established actor would never do. Empty vessels make the most noise. Please don’t disrespect television. Period.” Although the posts were later removed, they sparked conversation online, with many supporting Hina’s stance and praising her for defending television artists.

 

Nomination Task Update

 

The nomination task remains incomplete. Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar were disqualified and directly nominated after Abhishek Bajaj was seen helping them with their counting. The rest of the nominations are yet to be revealed.
