Here’s how Sonam Kapoor responded to Katrina Kaif’s comment on cousin Janhvi Kapoor's VERY SHORT gym shorts!
Sonam Kapoor is known for speaking her heart out and has always voiced her opinions on several subjects. So it was quite obvious that she would come out in defence of her cousin when her clothes became a subject of discussion. Sonam gave it back to Katrina Kaif when the actress stated that she finds Janhvi Kapoor's shorts ‘very very short'. She took to social media to talk about the dressing sense of her cousin Janhvi Kapoor.
Katrina Kaif recently appeared as the guest on the show BFFs With Vogue hosted by Neha Dhupia. In the same show, Katrina was asked who does she think overdoes gym wear. Katrina replied, “Not OTT, but I am concerned with the very very short shorts that Janhvi wears to the gym. She comes to the same gym as mine and we are often together at the gym. I just worry about her sometimes.”
Obviously this comment on the dressing style of Janhvi Kapoor didn’t go down well with Sonam Kapoor. She came out in defence of her cousin Janhvi and took to Instagram story to share a picture of Janhvi in denim shorts and white top saying, “She also wears regular clothes and rocks it.”
Sonam further however clarified that she didn’t jump into defence. She took to Twitter to clarify her comment that she posted on Instagram story adding, “Guys I wasn’t defending Janhvi over something my very dear friend Katrina might have innocently said. It’s an inside joke with my sister on her gym looks that get papped. Pls don’t create drama mediawallas.”
