Veteran Bollywood actress and Dream Girl Hema Malini celebrated her 75th birthday in style on October 16, with a star-studded birthday bash that attracted a constellation of popular celebrities. The grand event was a night to remember, and it witnessed a touching reunion between Hema and the evergreen actress Rekha, as the duo danced to the iconic song ‘Kya Khoob Lagti Ho.’
A video of the memorable evening, shared on an Instagram fan page, captured the enchanting moment when Rekha dedicated the timeless song ‘Kya Khoob Lagti Ho’ to Hema, who looked stunning at 75. Hema adorned herself in a lavishly embroidered sheer lavender saree, epitomizing timeless grace. Rekha, in her signature style, arrived in an ivory embroidered saree, her distinctive jewellery, and impeccable makeup. The two legends shared a heartwarming exchange on stage as they swayed to the music, evoking nostalgia and admiration from the audience.
The birthday bash turned into a magnificent reunion of Hema's film colleagues, with luminaries like Jaya Bachchan, Padmini Kolhapure, Jackie Shroff, Jeetendra, and Rakesh Roshan attending the celebration. The younger generation of Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Rajkummar Rao, Vidya Balan, Shilpa Shetty, Rani Mukerji, and Madhuri Dixit, were also present to wish the evergreen Dream Girl on her milestone birthday.
