Gadar 2: BTS video of Sunny Deol doing action sequences goes viral on social media
Known for his action prowess, Sunny Deol is all set to return to the silver screen with his popular role of Tara Singh from the cross-country love drama Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Ever since the sequel Gadar 2: The Katha Continues was announced, fans of Deol and the film have been rooting for it. Along with Ameesha Patel rejoining the second installment as well, Gadar 2 will also mark the return of the ‘dhai kilo ka haath’ stunts of Deol and promises to be a treat for the ones who love Sunny’s action sequences. In fact, a recent BTS video that found its way online, showcases that the makers have indeed kept up with their promise.
In a recent video that was shared by one of the social media users on Twitter, we can get a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes (BTS) of Gadar 2: The Katha Continues. The said clip features Sunny Deol in action mode, as he uproots a pole while trying to save a damsel in distress. Although we are not sure of the lady who seems to be in trouble in the action scene, the video clip is a treat for Sunny lovers who are expecting the return of Gadar-style action on the big screen. Moreover, the scene is also reminiscent of the famous ‘hand pump uprooting’ shot from Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.
Interestingly, earlier when co-producers Zee Studios had shared montages from their slate of releases in 2023, Gadar 2 had featured a glimpse of how Sunny Deol will be seen lifting a cartwheel. Going by these sequences, it seems that the makers are keen on taking the action of the sequel to the next level.
Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is expected to take off from where Gadar: Ek Prem Katha ended and has retained the characters of Tara Singh and Sakeena which is essayed by Ameesha Patel. The film will also have a grown-up Utkarsh Sharma reprising the role of their son Charan Jeet Singh yet again.
