Fukrey director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba shares a meme suggesting the making of the third part

Fans of the Fukrey franchise have been eagerly awaiting the release of the third instalment. Recently, the director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba dropped a hint at working on the third part of the film. He shared a meme featuring actors Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma and Pulkit Samrat.

In the picture, Pankaj Tripathi's character Pandit ji can be seen conversing with the other three. A dialogue bubble is added in the frame which reads, "Teesra part taiyyar ho raha hai (The third part is in the making)" Along with this meme, the director also shared two other pictures of Pankaj Tripathi.

Sharing the meme, Mrigdeep Singh Lamba wrote, "#flashbackfukrey #memeries Panditji ki bavishyawani

Recently, there were reports that the filmmaker as planning on incorporating plot points pertaining to the coronavirus. However, the filmmaker has denied the reports. This story has nothing to do with Covid 19. Even I was surprised when I read that I was incorporating the virus in my film when in fact I said we won’t incorporate such a grim and sensitive issue forcibly into Fukrey 3," he said.
