First photo of Taapsee Pannu and Shah Rukh Khan from the sets of Dunki; are they playing travel explorers in this Rajkumar Hirani film?

Rajkumar Hirani will be bringing together Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu together for the first time and the pairing has seen quite an excitement among fans. The duo, it seems, have kicked off a schedule in London and recently a photo of them shooting for Dunki surfaced online. And needless to say, the photo has found its way to social media and has gone viral.

The said photo features Shah Rukh Khan in a red jacket, an outfit that made news earlier owing to its striking resemblance to his look from the chartbuster 90s song “Chaiyya Chaiyya” from Dil Se. On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu is seen sporting a casual attire that covers her from head to toe. What seems to be even more intriguing is the backpacks that the two of them are carrying. Shah Rukh and Taapsee are seen carrying heavy travelling bags that makes them look like they are travel explores.

 

 

While details of their respective characters are being kept under wraps, it is being said that Dunki does feature a romantic angle. In fact, speaking about it in an earlier interview, Taapsee Pannu revealed in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, “In Raju sir's film, there is a lot more said than the love story. The love story here is much more than any of the other Raju sir's or any other female character portrayal in his film.” The actress went on to also express excitement about shooting with a superstar like Khan.

 

Speaking of Shah Rukh Khan, the actor resumed shooting after a four year hiatus and has three major films in the pipeline. Besides Dunki, he has the spy action drama Pathaan that also features John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. Along with that, he also has the multi-lingual Atlee film Jawan starring him alongside South superstar Nayanthara.
