Fatima Sana Shaikh on being directed by Anurag Basu again in Metro In Dino, “I love dada, he is a genius”

The audience got to see a different side of Fatima Sana Shaikh in Anurag Basu’s Ludo. The actress is working with the filmmaker once again in Metro In Dino. Fatima is delighted to have gotten a chance to be directed by Basu once again.

Sharing her happiness at collaborating with the filmmaker again, Fatima said in a statement, “I am really excited to go on to the sets of metro this month. I love Dada (Anurag Basu), he is a genius. He has a way of creating magic on screen and I am so lucky that I am again getting to work with him and be a part of his magical world. He brings the best out of his actors and what’s even better that there is always great food on his sets.”

 

Fatima also shared a couple of pictures with Basu recently on her official Instagram account. The pictures are mirror selfies where Basu is standing behind Fatima. The Dangal actress captioned the post, “Hey you! Can’t wait to go back on your set. @anuragbasuofficial.”

 

 

 

Metro In Dino is the sequel to Basu’s own multi-starrer Life In a Metro, which had released in 2007. The sequel also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, among others.

 

Fatima was recently in news after she spoke up about being able to accept that she has Epilepsy. She had said, “It took me 5 years to accept that I have Epilepsy, and it’s okay, it’s not a big issue. I didn’t realise how difficult it must be for my parents and how much I was creating trouble for them by just not being ready to take the medicines on time.”
