“It can be looked from two different sides. Social media is a boon as well as a pain. You can send across your message and it reaches far and wide. At the same time, due to the social media, your knowledge regarding the film or your reports about the film spreads like a forest fire. So, someone sitting here might be writing a review or putting out his/her opinion and someone sitting in Australia or America will be reading it next minute and forming a judgement whether to watch the film or not”, claimed Taran. Further talking about trolling, he said, “Coming to trolling, it is an evil that will probably stay especially for actors. It is a part of life and you have to accept it”.

Giving his own example, Taran shared, “I gave bad reviews for the film Zero for which I got trolled a lot. But that is okay. When you are in this field, you have to prepare yourself for it. This goes for actors, directors, and producers also. It is not necessary that what I have written is acceptable for everyone as they have their own opinions about things. While watching a movie with family, you might like it but the other members might not. There can be difference of opinions within family. However, below the belt trolling is wrong”.
