EXCLUSIVE: Kartik Aaryan recalls his most embarrassing moment during an audition; reveals he was hit on by a guy!
Fans of Kartik Aaryan can finally see the actor in an unconventional role of a socially awkward dentist in the recently released thriller Freddy. The film hit the tube today and features him alongside Alaya F and there has been quite a buzz around it owing to its nail-biting teaser. During its promotions, Bollywood Hungama had an interesting and candid chat with the lead onscreen couple, in which Kartik opened up about some interesting things including his older days and an embarrassing moment that he remembers even today.
In the Rapid Fire round with Bollywood Hungama, the confident Kartik Aaryan was seen in his elements as he candidly answered questions thrown towards him. Amidst that, he was asked about an embarrassing moment, Kartik recalled, “I think it was when somebody hit on me during auditions, and that too, it was a guy.” His response also left his Freddy co-star Alaya quite surprised.
Talking about Freddy, the film is about a socially awkward scientist who gets attracted to the beautiful but married Kainaaz Irani and how her unhappy marriage leads to a massive conspiracy that changes their life forever. The film brings together Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F together for the first time. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film released directly on OTT. It premiered on Disney+Hotstar on December 2.
Coming to Kartik Aaryan, the actor also has Shehzaada alongside Kriti Sanon, which is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. Besides that, he has Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani, Aashiqui 3, and Hera Pheri 3 in the pipeline.
