In the ever-evolving landscape of the entertainment industry, Ektaa R Kapoor is known to be one of the pioneers and visionaries who has had an immense impact on the Indian entertainment industry. Celebrating her achievements, the producer was recently honored with the Directorate Award as India's first woman filmmaker at the recently held International Emmy Awards in New York, USA. The filmmaker was recently seen making her way back to Mumbai and the paps at the airport were thrilled to see her and even congratulated her on such a prestigious achievement.

Ektaa R Kapoor recently had taken to her social media to share a photo of her attending the International Emmy Awards 2023 in New York. Furthermore, she had also shared a picture post the win wherein she had captioned it saying, ‘India I’m bringing home YOUR Emmy’. This proud moment was celebrated by the filmmaker yet again when she arrived at the Mumbai International terminal. For the unversed, Ekta Kapoor received the award in NYC and after that the filmmaker also gave a heartfelt speech which left many impressed. In her speech she said, “This is for you, India. In your history, I find my stories in your strength and your tenacity, I find my grit to my motherland. I am bringing home your Emmy.”
