Bollywood queen and actress Deepika Padukone played a funny and adorable character of Meenamma in Rohit Shetty's comedy movie Chennai Express. The actress is quite expressive when it comes to showcasing her happiness on the success of her films. She recently took to her Instagram stories and shared a vibrant animated video of Rahul played by superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Meenamma essayed by Deepika Padukone going together in their jeep.

The Piku star uploaded the video reminiscing memories and celebrating 8 successful years of action-comedy Chennai Express. The title track of Chennai express played in the background and another van containing the duo's look from the film passes by. The actress tagged her co-star Shah Rukh Khan and director Rohit Shetty in the animated video.

 

 

Another truck follows next on which "8 years of Chennai Express" is written. The video comes to an end with Meenamma's most epic dialogue from the film, "Kaha se khareedi aisi bakwaas dictionary?" Before her, the 100 Crore Club director Rohit Shetty too had shared a motion poster having Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in it on his Instagram page.

 

Chennai Express was a rib-tickling action comedy movie of 2013 and went on to become one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films. It was produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Gauri Khan, and Karim Morani. The film tells the story of a North Indian Mithaiwala who falls in love with a Tamil girl and a daughter of a dreaded don. The fans will get to see their favourite Jodi reuniting once again for the much-anticipated movie named Pathan starring Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, and John Abraham in lead roles.
