Here’s a picture of Nargis Fakhri and Rajkummar Rao during their script reading session with their director Namrata Singh Gujral. A source close to the actress says, “Nargis is looking forward to the shoot experience and of course working with actor extraordinaire Rajkummar. They will be shooting in and around Chandigarh for the next 3 weeks.” Describing the film, Rajkummar added that the film explores varied concepts of life from life-death to love to transgender tangles to cultural clashes to politics.

 

The film which is based on the backdrop of big fat Indian weddings has Nargis Fakhri playing the role of a writer who visits the country from US in order to cover a story for her magazine on Indian weddings. On the other hand, Rajkummar will be seen in the role of a Haryanvi cop who is given the responsibility of escorting Nargis and ensure her safety since she is new to the country. However, his cynicism and his constant suspicion create confusion making the actor believe that a conspiracy is being planned.
