Before a film goes on floor, the makers of the project along with the cast and crew gather together for a muharat. In fact Akshay Kumar who was shooting in Indore for his film at the famous Maheshwar temple invited the film’s producer Bhushan Kumar, head honcho of T-Series to officially sign the film contract at the famous 300-year-old Lord Shiva temple in Maheshwar. Commenting on the same, Bhushan Kumar added that signing the biopic based on his father’s life inside a Shiv temple was surreal and that there were no words to express what he felt.

 

For the uninitiated Mogul, is based on Gulshan Kumar’s rags-to-riches story, from being a household name with his devotional music to becoming the one-man music industry with T-Series. Produced by Gulshan Kumar's wife Sudesh Kumari, the film will be directed by Subhash Kapoor and will star Akshay Kumar as the music mogul.
