The October 19 episode of Bigg Boss 19 brought a refreshing shift in mood, as Diwali festivities lit up the house and bonds between housemates deepened. Host Salman Khan opened the show by addressing the previous day's tension but promised a lighter, more festive vibe ahead.

Jasmine Sandlas Performs, Baseer and Nehal Share a Moment

 

Singer Jasmine Sandlas kicked off the celebrations with a vibrant performance of the title track from Kick. During the segment, Salman posed a question about love blooming in the house, prompting a shy exchange between Baseer and Nehal. Their smiles and blushes caught everyone’s attention, sparking fresh speculation about a potential connection.

 

Meanwhile, the house learned that Amaal had been sneaking extra eggs — a light-hearted moment that added to the entertainment.

 

Shaan’s Game Brings More Chemistry and Fun

 

Later, singer Shaan entered the house to host a Diwali-themed game called Tum Jo Kaho To. As part of the game, Pranit shared that he would prefer to ignore Shehbaz, while Nehal chose Baseer as the person she’d most like to spend time with. Their reactions once again left housemates teasing the duo, highlighting their growing closeness.

 

Shaan ended the session on a high note by announcing there would be no elimination this week due to Diwali. He then performed for the contestants, and everyone joined in for a dance celebration.

 

Conversations, Confessions, and Celebrity Appearances

 

After the musical interlude, Abhishek approached Amaal in an attempt to clear the air and asked him to preserve his image and legacy. Meanwhile, Gaurav questioned Abhishek about a past remark related to a chessboard, leading to another round of discussions.

 

Special guests Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui made virtual appearances and interacted with the contestants. Ayushmann called out Gaurav, Abhishek, and Amaal during his segment.

 

The housemates participated in a task where they had to identify who appeared strong (Thamma) but was actually weak (Lappu). Amaal and Neelam chose Gaurav, Tanya and Shehbaz picked Malti, Pranit named Shehbaz. Kunickaa chose Shehbaz, Baseer, and Abhishek

 

Ashnoor came to Abhishek’s defense, resulting in a minor disagreement with Baseer. Nehal also named Malti during the task. Later, Neelam and Nehal danced to ‘Chikni Chameli’, while Pranit sang for the guests at Ayushmann’s request. When Ayushmann praised his singing, Pranit responded humorously, “Sir, aap itna mat karo, aapki film dekh loonga.” Amaal and Shehbaz also entertained the guests with performances.

 

Diwali Surprise Leaves Everyone Emotional

 

Ayushmann then revealed a surprise — heartfelt gifts and video messages from the housemates’ families, delivered as part of a Diwali celebration. Contestants were paired for the exchange. Gaurav and Amaal received framed photos and cash. Neelam got a photo from her mother, while Nehal received an emotional video from her brother. Baseer and Farrhana were gifted a pastry and a video message from Farrhana’s mother, leaving her in tears. Tanya gave Shehbaz the chance to watch a message from his sister, Shehnaaz. Ashnoor allowed Abhishek to view a message from his sister, who encouraged the house to respect him. Mridul presented Malti with a touching video from her grandmother. Pranit also received a family video, while Kunickaa unfortunately missed out.

 

After the emotional moments, team Thamma exited the activity area. Housemates were then guided to the garden, which had been beautifully decorated for Diwali, setting the tone for more celebrations ahead.
