Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2: Disha Parmar and Nakuul Mehta are new Priya and Ram as they discuss woes of singlehood 

The wait is finally over for the fans. Producer Ekta Kapoor has confirmed that Pyaar Ka Dard Hai stars Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar will reunite in the upcoming show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2. After much anticipation, the first promo was unveiled on August 12.

Featuring Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar as the new-age Ram and Priya, the first promo sees them discussing woes of singlehood. He asks Priya why she is unmarried at 32 and she goes onto ask why is he single at 38. Then, they talk about the reasons behind remaining single and finding a common ground. “Shaadi ke baad, pyaar hote hote ho hi jata hai,” the voiceover follows.

Ekta Kapoor took to her social media recently where she posted an IGTV of herself in conversation with two of the most loved TV actors Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor. The phenomenal actors who were the protagonists of Bade Acche Lagte Hain, a show that took the TV world by storm, were loved & appreciated for their impeccable performance. Breaking the news of season 2, Ekta Kapoor mentioned that there is a whole generation that’s not seen this story and they don’t know that urban loneliness is a thing and hence the reason for Bade Acche Lagte Hai to be retold.

 

Revealing more details about the new Priya, Ekta said, “Today’s women have strong angst in them. Be it you or me, we always feel we got the raw end of the stick.”

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 will begin shooting this month. It is set to go on air next month.
