Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari reviews Dream Girl 2; calls Ayushmann Khurrana “chameleon,” lauds Ananya Panday, Seema Pahwa

Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday's comedy-drama Dream Girl 2 has finally hit theatres, and it is receiving a positive response from the audience and critics alike. The film has been praised for its humour, performances, and direction. Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari took to Twitter to praise the film.

She wrote, "After a long time I sat in a theatre and laughed out loud without bothered about what people will say with my loud laughter. Varun Shetty sitting besides me must have felt the same as I just could not 'Not laugh and smile' at the brilliant comic timing and dialogues by the director / writer Raj and his team."

She also praised the performances of the cast, writing, "Ayushmann Khurrana is a chameleon with terrific performances and dance moves in #dreamgirl2 Seema Pahwa ji only love for you. Abhishek Banerjee your smile is getting wider ♥️ Ananya Panday there is so much more for an audience to discover from you as an actor. Ektaa Kapoor shine always. So much love and respect for you ♥️"

For the unversed, Dream Girl 2 is a sequel to the 2019 film of the same name, and it tells the story of Karamveer (Ayushmann Khurrana), a small-town boy who pretends to be a woman on the phone to earn money. The film also stars Ananya Panday, Seema Pahwa, Abhishek Banerjee, and Rajpal Yadav.
