Anil Kapoor remembers Sridevi in a heartfelt post; sees her reflection in Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor
Veteran actress Sridevi bid farewell to the world on February 24 night in Dubai. The untimely passing for the legendary actress left the whole nation in shock. As the wounds of the Kapoor, Marwah and Ayyapan family, Indian film industry and the nation are celebrating the 55th birth anniversary of the actress. Just like everyone, brother-in-law and Sridevi's co-star in many films, Anil Kapoor too shared the heartfelt post honouring the actress.
Taking to Twitter, Anil Kapoor shared a picture of Sridevi with Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor. He wrote, “A true star that shone brightly on-screen & lit up the lives of everyone she touched. Not a day goes by when we don’t miss you Sri. We see your reflection in #JanhviKapoor & #KhushiKapoor everyday. You live on in our hearts & minds...”
Anil Kapoor and Sridevi had starred together in several films including Mr. India, Lamhe, Judaai, Heer Ranjha, Ladla, Karma, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja amongst many others.
Sridevi was the first female superstar of the Indian film industry. The actress not only worked in Hindi films but in South industry as well. She made her name in different languages and won the audience in each and every role. She began acting since the age of 4. The late actress became a household name during the 80s. She starred in several iconic films including Chandni, Chaalbaaz, to name a few. Her second innings surely got her great accolades as well. She made her comeback with English Vinglish. She was last seen in 2017 film Mom.
