Ananya Panday playfully responds to Aishwarya Mohanraj’s viral video with Aditya Roy Kapur

Comedian and YouTuber Aishwarya Mohanraj's recreation of the iconic mandap scene from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai alongside Aditya Roy Kapur had garnered attention almost a year ago. However, it recently resurfaced when Ananya Panday, who is rumoured to be dating Aditya, playfully reacted to the on-screen wedding during an interview with Aishwarya for Netflix.

During their conversation, Aishwarya asked Ananya, “Who do you stalk on social media?” Ananya responded, “My bio says private investigator because I am a huge stalker. I know everything about everyone.” This prompted Aishwarya to ask Ananya about her own knowledge. Ananya cheekily mentioned, “That you got married recently, yes? And you love marrying actors during promotions.” With a teasing smile, Aishwarya then inquired, “Whom did I marry?” Ananya, blushing, playfully hid her face behind a stuffed toy and said, “I don't know what you are talking about.”

 

The banter continued as Aishwarya probed, “Did you like my marriage?” Ananya responded with an inquiry of her own, asking, “Your real one?” Aishwarya followed up by asking if Ananya knew about her first wedding, to which Ananya promptly replied with a “No.”

 

Aishwarya Mohanraj married stand-up comedian Aakash Shah in October of the previous year, while her viral mandap recreation video with Aditya Roy Kapur was created a few months prior, in July. Ananya Panday added a humorous twist by jokingly asking, “It didn't work out?” Aishwarya's response, “Yeah, he likes someone else. But it's okay; I am good friends with her now,” left Ananya with a smile.

 

For the unversed, rumours of Ananya and Aditya’s alleged romance have been circulating for a considerable duration. The speculation initially sparked after the pair made a joint appearance at Kriti Sanon’s Diwali party last year. Additionally, filmmaker Karan Johar dropped subtle hints regarding the pair's relationship during an episode of his talk show, Koffee With Karan 7, in the same year.
